Biography of Zhengqiu Li

Zhengqiu Li obtained his Ph.D. degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. After 5 years postdoctoral training at the National University of Singapore (NUS), he is currently a Professor at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. His research interest is in the medicinal chemistry and chemical proteomics studies. In recent years, his group has developed a suite of novel electrophilic warheads targeting carboxyl residues, cysteines and lysines. Using these warheads containing probe library, several potential anticancer targets related to pancreatic cancer and TNBC have been identified by integrated phenotypic screening and chemical proteomics.
