Biography of Minjia Tan

Dr. Minjia Tan is currently a professor in Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Tan’s interest is focused on the development of mass spectrometry-based proteomics technologies to characterize the roles of protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) in physiology and diseases, His previous work characterized the new roles of several types of PTMs in cancer and metabolic disorders, and demonstrated the therapeutic potential of targeting PTM crosstalk in cancer therapies.   He co-authored more than 120 refereed publications, including Cell, Cell Metab, Nat Chem, Mol Cell, ect.
