Biography of Jie Wang

Dr. Jie Wang received the B. S. degree in chemistry from Wuhan University in 2012 and finished the Ph.D degree of chemical biology from the Peking University in 2018. After postdoctoral training in protein design and proteomics from the Peking University, Dr. Jie Wang joined the Southern University of Science and Technology as an assistant professor (PI) in June 2020 to start the dependent research. Jie’s group mainly focus on the research of bioorthogonal chemistry, genetic code expansion and directed evolution of functional proteins.
