Gang Li earned his Ph.D. in 2015 from Peking University, specializing in DNA-encoded library selection. He then worked as a postdoc fellow at the University of Chicago, where he concentrated on building advanced chemical proteomic platforms for clinical sampling analysis. In 2020, he joined Shenzhen Bay Laboratory to start his independent career. His research pursuits center on the deve lopment of chemical proteomics platforms aimed at investigating protein complexes, nucleophilic amino acids labelling, and enzyme inhibitor screening. Notably, within Dr. Li's lab, significant attentions are devoted to the exploration of RNA binding proteins and the ubiquitination processes.
