Biography of Wei Qin

Wei Qin is a Tenure-track Assistant Professor at Tsinghua University, affiliated with School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tsinghua-Peking Center for Life Sciences, The State Key Laboratory of Membrane Biology, MOE Key Laboratory of Bioorganic Phosphorus Chemistry & Chemical Biology. Wei received his training at Beijing Institute of Technology (BS, 2014),   Peking University (Ph.D., 2019, with Prof. Chu Wang and Prof. Xing Chen), Stanford University (Postdoc, 2019-2023, with Prof. Alice Y. Ting). Wei’s work straddles the interface of chemistry and biology and the chemoproteomic technologies he has developed, including TransitID, not only aid in understanding the fundamental biological processes in living organisms but also hold great potential for discovering drug targets and biomarkers in disease progression.
